"Traveling to Guatemala was simply the most life-changing experience of my life. I have never felt so inspired.  To be honest, I had apprehension about traveling to an unfamiliar country. My concern disappeared the first time I met the leaders and other student volunteers. I cannot say enough about the warmth and dedication of the people who I volunteered with. I had such an awesome time serving the communities of Poptun, Guatemala, and I feel very fortunate that I could be part of the team that makes a difference".
 - Annie Kung (UC Riverside, 2015)

"Volunteering in Guatemala was a life changing experience for me. I didn’t think I could grow so attached to so many individuals in such a sort period of time, but volunteering for just a week in Guatemala has left me with new strong friendships and a new appreciation for life. The clinic days at Guatemala were by far my favorite. Aside from working with numerous wonderful professionals and volunteers, I had a chance to make a difference, even if it may be a small one, in another’s life. "
- Tiffany B (UC Davis, 2015)

"This trip to Guatemala was the best decision I ever made. Not only did I make new friends and learned about health care and treating patients, I also got to challenge myself in many ways, such as having to learn adequate Spanish in one day to take patients' histories. The memories I made and all the experiences from this trip are going to stay with me for a long time coming."
- M.T. (UCLA, 2015)

"I didn't really know what to expect going to Guatemala medical missions as it was my first medical trip ever. I wasn't even really interested in pursuing the medical field. However, after interacting with passionate students, practitioners, and the patients, I became more interested in medicine. I discovered a new part of myself.”
- Huyn Kim (UC Davis, 2015)

"I was really lucky to stumble across iHelp Globally. The programs in both Peru and Guatemala were so much fun and taught me a lot. The experiences were eye opening and really showed me what everyday experiences we take for granted each and every day! Not to mention the clinics where we get hands on experience with patients and a variety of illnesses. IHG is an amazing program and I hope to be back soon!"
- Neil Patel (UCLA, 2014)

"I was truly blessed and received a lot of love and supervision throughout the medical trip in Guatemala. I was happy to help provide medical treatments to those in need. Thanks to IHelp Globally, the medical mission to Guatemala gave me a strength in pursuing a higher degree so that one day I can serve a lot of patients worldwide. Now I am really passionate to be working in a medical field. I hope that I will be able to participate in future trips especially with more diverse medication."
- Tracey Lee (UCD, 2015)
