iHelp Globally offers Medical Outreach Programs designed for students who are interested in pursuing careers in medicine, dentistry, or allied health.
IHG aims to provide services and donations to communities that are deeply in need of medical attention...globally. By uniting like-minded individuals, iHelp Globally creates a symbiotic relationship between its volunteers and the communities they serve. Its second aim is to provide the volunteers with an opportunity to appreciate medicine at the grass-roots level as well as develop a life-long appreciation for service. Many of our volunteers are pre-health, pre-medical, or pre-dental university students that are looking for avenues to strengthen their passion for their chosen field. Additionally, some individuals work in non-medical fields, but participate to simply "give back" and serve others through education outreach programs and other social outreach events. |
We help communities across the globe by providing access to free health screenings and methods of illness prevention.
Students and licensed medical providers travel from the United States in order to set up free clinics in communities such as Pachacutec, located in an impoverished district of Ventanilla (Lima, Peru). Additional communities that receive care: Peru (Callao, Pucallpa, Iquitos), Guatemala (Poptun).
Currently our IHG medical teams travel to Peru every 2 months, often returning to serve the same communities in order to build relationships and provide a sense of security to the residents of these developing communities.

Each session provides communities with:
Screening, treatment, counseling, medication, public health seminars, & social outreach events. Social events are organized by IHG volunteers to build camaraderie amongst the residents. In the past, IHG has held arts & crafts sessions and carnival events. click here to view photos! |
